Lauren was raised on financial discipline and responsibility from a young age, as she and her siblings watched their mom, an elementary school teacher, and their dad, who worked for the local utility company, diligently save and manage the family finances. She also saw the nature of her parents’ careers dedicated to helping people in the community and soon followed their path toward guiding others, helping clients achieve their financial goals and retirement dreams.
Lauren is a graduate of North Carolina State University, where she studied business management and earned her bachelor’s degree. From college, she went straight to the world of financial services, working at Morgan Stanley for 10 years and eventually becoming independent in 2018, followed by the co-creation of WealthPoint Advisors, an independent firm, in 2021. At WealthPoint, Lauren has honed her skills and experience to create financial plans that prioritize asset preservation, income source strengthening and tax reduction. As she builds each plan, her goal is to explain everything to her clients in a way that does not confuse them and helps to add comfort and confidence to the retirement experience.
“I value the relationships with my clients,” Lauren says. “I am very responsive and believe that I should be accessible and available for them when they need me for life events, issues that arise or questions they have.”
Lauren lives in Cramerton, North Carolina, with her husband, Dean; their two daughters, Gracyn and Nora; and the family puppy, Dash. Lauren is honored to be raising two strong, smart girls, and family time is always a top priority in her life. She enjoys traveling with her family, along with time to ski, swim, golf and run before sunrise. Lauren is a member of several philanthropic organizations and works with the community through her church.
